Turistravels provides an online platform for browsing, booking, and managing tours and travel experiences in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We act as intermediaries between travelers and local tour operators, facilitating the reservation process while ensuring quality and safety standards.

3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability. Prices listed on the website are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. A booking is confirmed only after full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent to the email address provided.

  • Payment must be made at the time of booking through our accepted payment methods.
  • Turistravels reserves the right to adjust pricing due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or changes in local taxes.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the specific tour or experience booked. General guidelines are as follows:

  • More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
  • 24 to 72 hours before departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.

Turistravels reserves the right to cancel any tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient participation. In such cases, a full refund or the option to reschedule will be provided.

5. Limitation of Liability

Turistravels acts as an intermediary and is not directly responsible for the execution of tours, which are provided by independent local operators. While we vet all partners for quality and safety, we shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death during a tour activity.
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings.
  • Delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes caused by weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • Actions or omissions of third-party tour operators, transport providers, or accommodation partners.

6. Changes to Terms

Turistravels reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
